She’s very pretty, erika. A real prisoner, poor thing. Have you ever tried to cast a figure in plaster?–I guess not. This would be a good one to start with because she’s a clean two-piece job. How hard does she get? Is that material easily breakable? If she gets as hard as baked clay then there’s of course no need to cast her in another material.

I like the way you did the hair on this one. The tilt of the overall form is nice, too.
Thank you both! The piece feels heavy and hard, almost like stone. The bottom part is solid clay for stability.
