#4 girl in the series

Here is the latest girl. This one was a real challenge because I twisted her body. A few more finishing touches needed on her right leg and a crack to fill when she’s dry.

What I like I can still change her position with the wire. Not sure which angle to pick. Maybe the first one. It seems to have more energy.

  1. I prefer the top one too. The second one looks like she bent over too far and lost her balance. The big Q is an original look. (Now, having just written this and compared them again, I’m no longer sure. The Q is clearer in the second…) You see what help I am.

  2. You are helping alright. I never saw the Q. It was supposed to be an O. But her other leg makes it into a Q. Interesting.
I worked a bit more on her, and I’m almost happy with her, which is rare. I can’t wait to see how all these girls look on the plinth. I need to buy some stones, or maybe make something myself. I was thinking of making the base out of clay for weight and cover it with mache. That might work better because I can fiddle with different shapes.
