Mixed media painting
While making an assemblage some time ago I fell in love with the colourful and cheerful buttons that were part of it. They, and some wire inspired this abstract painting.
In the past I had been bothered by the crude transition between the 3D components and the 2D background in my experiments with this medium. The interruption of the flow seemed all too obvious. I think in this work I have made a lot of progress which drives me to come up with variations on the theme.
